How to Begin the Green Card Renewal Process

There are typically two ways to begin the green card renewal process including by mail or online.

Renewing a Green Card by Mail – To renew a green card by mail, individuals must apply by filing a Form I-90 through mail. The Form I-90 is usually referred to as the Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, and it may cost a $450 filing fee.
